Job Title: Kindergarten Activity Day Teacher

Job Description: Performance Responsibilities: • Supervision of children • Supervision of safety and well-being of children • Program planning, development and implementation • Maintain a written plan for program development and daily activities • Parent communication • Observation of children • Completion of annual child observation report • Participation in 20 hours of training each year • Monthly newsletter • Monthly evacuation review and drills • Attendance at all staff meetings • Maintenance of current First Aid and CPR certification • Maintenance of housekeeping duties

Requirements: Qualifications:

Shall meet one of the following sets of requirements: 1. Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Guidance, Human Services, Nursing, Psychology, Child Psychology, Sociology, or Childcare, and have six (6) months experience working with children; OR 2. Have a Bachelor’s Degree in any field of study or and Associate’s Degree in any field of study and have nine (9) months experience working with school age childcare.

Salary: Salary: Commensurate with background and experience
