Professional Development

The Massachusetts Way: Changing the Face of the Superintendent

Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents works diligently to provide high quality professional development opportunities to its member districts. M.A.S.S. offers workshops, courses, seminars, trainings and conferences to its members. This is an effort to offer fresh new educational information and understanding to the school administrators throughout the state. We  conducted a Member Snapshot Survey in December 2010 and January 2011. The results of this survey indicated that our members rely on M.A.S.S. for 98% of their professional development. We have developed a program for the 2016-2017 school year which responds to the requests from our members. Information regarding all of these programs is available on this website.
