Inequity in Massachusetts schools is a real problem, and it affects learning and teaching every day. Karen Cavanaugh (who teaches in Brockton) and Laura Phillips (who teaches in Burlington) are two sisters who see a vast difference in their classroom resources, the staff they work with, and the opportunities their students have.
It is time to fix the inequity issue.
