As we approach the end of the school year, we want to take this opportunity to thank and congratulate the Massachusetts Superintendents who will retire soon or have retired over the past year. We wish them a retirement full of new challenges and adventures, along with some well-deserved rest and reflection. We are grateful for their service to students, families, and staff in communities across the Commonwealth.
We asked the retirees what they will miss most about serving as Superintendent. Here are some of their responses…
“I will most miss connecting with students when they are excited about what they are learning, the feeling of pride when I see them performing, and interacting with my longtime, valued colleagues.”
