Manager of Extended Learning

The Manager of Extended Learning is directly responsible for the oversight of programs and operations of all before school, after school, and school vacation programming in the district. The primary focus will be the coordination of program development and implementation; staff development, and budget management for the extended learning programming. Through a collaborative effort with school staff and the community, the Manager of Extended Learning’s role is to provide high quality out of school time programming experience to all students that complement the education they receive in the classroom. With a strong focus on project-based learning, the program supports students by building and improving skill sets useful both today and tomorrow. The Manager of Extender Learning will create fun, engaging and highly academic environments where students are expected to meet the same standards and encouraged to find their own path to achieving them. Through new and innovative strategies like STEM, Service Learning, or Socio-emotional based clubs we work to create students better prepared for college and beyond.
