COMPENSTATION:
Salary and Benefits: Negotiable, commensurate with
experience; multi-year contract

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Licensed as a vocational-technical superintendent
in Massachusetts.
• Master’s degree required, advanced degree
preferred.
• Ten years of educational experience, including
vocational experience as well as teaching, central
office and/or administrative experience.

The School Committee seeks a dynamic, motivated
leader who demonstrates:
• Ability to cultivate a positive school climate and culture;
• Accessibility to staff, students, parent/guardians and
community with a visible and inclusive management
style;
• Excellent communication and political skills including
the ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups
including local and state officials;
• Proven record of fostering a collaborative environment;
• Success in positively addressing enrollment needs;
• Competency in strategic planning, implementation
and oversight;
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring an
administrative team;
• Competency in both academic and Career and
Vocational Technical Education (CVTE);
• Understanding, recognition and support of good
teaching;
• Experience in or understanding of the capital planning
and school building process;
• Knowledge of Special Education programming and
related laws and regulations.
