SHREWSBURY – After almost 29 years as part of Shrewsbury Public Schools, Superintendent Joseph Sawyer is stepping down.
🎙️ Our latest Superintendent Spotlight profile features Dr. Thea Stovell Herndon, who is in her eighth year as Superintendent of the Randolph Public Schools
💡 Dr. Stovell Herndon reflects on the ways she has grown as a district leader and credits that growth to two main factors: learning on the job, including valuable lessons from mistakes and missteps; and professional learning with her colleagues, through M.A.S.S. and other support networks.
📖 She also highlights some of her team’s proudest accomplishments, including the new North Randolph Elementary School and a five-year Literacy Action Plan that has significantly increased literacy proficiency.
